The Ultimate Australian Fundraising Trip

Tom O’Toole of Beechworth Bakery fame recently undertook an astonishing fundraising trip across Australia in his beloved 1930 A Model Ford.

Tom and his best mate Keith were on a mission to raise over $100,000 for the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute. They started out from Australia’s easternmost point at Byron Bay to the westernmost at Shark Bay/Steep Point.

They journeyed as Tom puts it, “right through the guts” of the country. And with no doors and travelling at a maximum of 40kph they were the ones with guts.

A number of our friends and clients in Alice Springs attended Tom’s fundraising breakfast presentation during his Alice pit stop. This included Filippo Gelada of Outback Elite Tours.

Tom then had an enjoyable overnight stay at Terrific Hall of Fame client Curtin Springs while travelling to Uluru.
