Dated signage backfires

Here is another example of wasted advertising spotted by Gary Collins. While waiting at Terminal 3 at Perth airport for my colleague Jan to get off the Jetstar flight from Sydney he couldn’t help but notice an advertisement. It was a large free-standing panel in the middle of the baggage conveyor. Probably looked at by thousands of people each week. Offering the chance to get your installation costs back if booked before 31st July 2015!Attix sign

This was in mid-October 2017 well over two years past the closing date for the offer.

What does this imply about the company? Is it subliminally telling prospective customers that if you order a ladder from them it will take forever to deliver and install?

We need to carefully check the messages we send through our signage and advertising.
